Who is Jen Simmons?

Jen Simmons co-founded BucketGolf, the portable backyard golf game, with her brother Tyler Simmons. The game grew out of a homemade set Tyler built for a family Fourth of July vacation in 2016, using buckets as holes and oversized clubs and whiffle balls so anyone could play on a lawn, beach or park. After slow early sales, the siblings redesigned the product around collapsible buckets, which cut costs and made the sets easy to carry, and the business grew from $2.5 million in sales in 2022 to $5.9 million in 2023.

The siblings, based in the San Francisco area, pitched together in Season 16 of Shark Tank, asking for $1 million for 10% to fund inventory. Several sharks made offers, and they accepted $1 million for 12.5% from Mark Cuban. BucketGolf sells online, on Amazon and through retailers.
