What happened to LuminAid after Shark Tank?
Still in business Last checked October 3, 2026
Anna Stork and Andrea Sreshta invented LuminAID's inflatable solar lantern as architecture graduate students after the 2010 Haiti earthquake. In February 2015 all five sharks made offers, and the founders took Mark Cuban's $200,000 for 15%. The company now sells to two markets: relief groups such as ShelterBox, which hand the lights out after disasters, and campers and outdoor shoppers in retail stores. By 2021 the line had nine lanterns, many of which double as phone chargers.
