Who is Aaron Menitoff?

Aaron Menitoff ran a gourmet catering company in Palm Beach, Florida, for about 20 years with his wife, Julie, and has longstanding ties to the Wellington equestrian community. He also built and ran a surf and yoga hotel in Nicaragua and has organized disaster-relief food service after Florida hurricanes. When the pandemic shut down events, Menitoff turned the catering kitchen toward cheese and charcuterie boards shipped to customers' doors. The boards began selling on Goldbelly in October 2020 and were among the platform's top sellers by that December, and the business formally launched as Boarderie in 2021 with Rachel Solomon as co-founder.

In November 2022 the baked brie board made Oprah's Favorite Things, and Menitoff and Solomon pitched on Shark Tank Season 14. After four offers, they closed with Lori Greiner. Demand spiked to roughly $1 million in weekly sales after the episode. Menitoff serves as co-CEO and managing partner; Boarderie has expanded its line, set a Guinness World Record for the largest charcuterie board and, per Greiner, topped $50 million in sales.
