Who is Steven Weinstock?

Steven Weinstock co-founded Pick Up Bricks with his sister-in-law, Aurora Weinstock, and runs the business side of the company. Aurora came up with the idea for a child-safe vacuum that collects building bricks after years of stepping on her sons' Lego pieces, and the two spent about four years developing and testing the patented design with their own children. Steven handles shipping, inventory, customer service and marketing. The Los Angeles-based company began selling in June 2023, and the founders reported cutting customer acquisition costs from about $26 to $11 per customer while reaching roughly $348,000 in sales.

They had invested about $495,000 of their own money. On Shark Tank in Season 15 they asked for $200,000 for 10% of the company. Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner offered a joint deal, and the founders accepted $200,000 for 16%. Since the show Pick Up Bricks has expanded to Amazon and added accessories and replacement parts alongside sales on its own website.
