Who is Zayden Jeanvilma?
Zayden Jeanvilma is the son of Yum Crumbs founder Delson Jeanvilma and part of the family team behind the dessert topping brand. The business began in 2020, when the family's baking work showed that custom crumb cakes took too long to make. They created a ready-to-use crumble for desserts and sold it first to neighborhood bakeries, later adding gluten-free, low-sugar and vegan options. Zayden pitched alongside his father on Shark Tank in Season 15.
They asked for $100,000 for 10% and reported $1.7 million in lifetime sales, supply deals with 33 bake shops and a national crafts chain, and Wawa as their leading customer. They accepted $100,000 for 20% from Barbara Corcoran and Daymond John. Yum Crumbs has since expanded its flavor range and bundles and continues selling online and to food service customers.
