Who is Steven Graf?

Steven Graf is a co-founder of RigStrips, a Colorado company that makes magnetic strips that let skiers, snowboarders and anglers lean gear against a vehicle without scratching it. He and co-founder Zhach Pham came up with the idea in 2019 after a ski trip in Colorado left their cars marked by ski edges. The flagship SnoStrip and the summer SunStrip for fishing rods sell for about $50, and the company also offers adhesive versions. RigStrips launched in 2020, relies on Meta advertising and direct online sales, and reported about $450,000 in EBITDA the year before its Shark Tank appearance, with roughly 60,000 units and $3 million in lifetime sales.

On Shark Tank in Season 16 the founders asked for $300,000 for 7.5%. Guest shark Todd Graves, founder of Raising Cane's, offered $300,000 for 20%, and they settled at 15%. The founders said Graves' marketing background made the larger stake worthwhile. RigStrips continues to sell direct online.
