Who is Erin Bickley?

Erin Bickley co-founded Hold Your Haunches with her friend and walking partner Jenny Greer in Macon, Georgia. Before the business, Bickley worked part time as a floral and interior designer. In 2010 the two began developing a pant with a compression shapewear liner built in from the waist to below the calf, which they described as shapewear redefined. They went through multiple prototypes and sold their first pair online in November 2010. The company was doing about $165,000 in annual sales when Bickley and Greer appeared on Shark Tank Season 5.

Barbara Corcoran and Lori Greiner teamed up to invest $75,000, the first joint deal by two women sharks on the show. Sales reached $1.5 million in the six months after the episode, and the company moved to a larger facility and expanded beyond Amazon and boutiques. Growth did not last: by 2021 the brand had pulled its products from Amazon, and its website went offline by early 2023. The business appears to have ceased operations.
