Who is Jenny Greer?

Jenny Greer co-founded Hold Your Haunches in Macon, Georgia, with her friend Erin Bickley. The two were stay-at-home moms and walking partners when they came up with the idea in 2010: a fashion trouser with shapewear compression lining built in from the waist to below the calf. After several prototypes, they sold their first pair online in November 2010 and grew the business through Amazon and boutiques. With roughly $165,000 in annual sales, they appeared on Shark Tank in Season 5. After several sharks competed for the deal, Barbara Corcoran and Lori Greiner jointly invested $75,000, the first time two women sharks partnered on an investment.

The episode drove $1.5 million in sales over the next six months, and a rerun weekend later produced about $280,000 more. The company moved into a larger facility. Competition from cheaper products later cut into sales; the brand left Amazon in 2021, and its website and social media went quiet by early 2023. The company appears to have closed.
