Who is Jenny Hutt?

Jenny Hutt is a radio host and lawyer by training who co-founded the eyewear brand Bunny Eyez with her sister, Stacy Fritz. She studied at Tufts University, earned a law degree from Hofstra and passed the New York bar. She has broadcast daily on SiriusXM since 2005, hosted the call-in show Just Jenny on the Stars channel from 2012 to 2022, co-wrote the 2011 book Whateverland, and now hosts the Just Jenny Podcast. The Bunny Eyez idea came at a Manhattan salon, where the sisters realized they could not wear reading glasses while getting their hair colored.

They searched for flexible readers, found none, and designed glasses with a patented hinge that lets the temples flip and tilt. The brand launched in 2018 and had more than $5 million in lifetime sales before Shark Tank, with sales peaking at $1.9 million in 2019. In Season 15 the founders asked for $200,000 for 10% and accepted Daymond John's offer of $200,000 for 20% plus a $2-per-pair royalty, with his stake dropping to 15% once he recouped his investment.
