Seventeen seasons and nearly 380 episodes in, Shark Tank is still one of ABC's most durable shows. Here is what you need to know about the current season, when new episodes air, where to stream old ones, and how to track down a product you saw pitched.
Is Shark Tank still on?
Yes. ABC renewed Shark Tank for an 18th season in May 2026, and Season 18 premiered with two back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The season is airing now.
Season 18 brings the biggest changes in years:
- A new home. After 17 seasons taped in the Los Angeles area, production moved to Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. Georgia's film tax credit, which covers unscripted competition shows, was the main draw.
- Two new permanent Sharks. Jewelry entrepreneur Kendra Scott and venture capitalist Rashaun Williams, both former guest Sharks, are now part of the main panel.
- A bigger panel. They join returning Sharks Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Daniel Lubetzky and Kevin O'Leary.
- Guest Sharks. ABC's announced lineup includes Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson with Beast Industries CEO Jeffrey Housenbold, Mindy Kaling, former NFL star J.J. Watt, Erin and Sara Foster of Favorite Daughter, and The Diary of a CEO host Steven Bartlett.
Mark Cuban is not on the panel. He left as a main Shark at the end of Season 16, after 14 seasons in a permanent seat.
When do new episodes air?
New episodes air on ABC on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. Eastern (9 p.m. Central), following Celebrity Jeopardy! on ABC's fall 2026 Wednesday schedule. The two-episode premiere on September 30 started an hour earlier, at 9 p.m., so check your local ABC listings when specials or schedule shifts come up. Pacific and Mountain times vary by station.
Wednesday has been the show's night since Season 17. Earlier it spent long stretches on Fridays and several seasons on Sundays.
Where to stream Shark Tank
New Season 18 episodes

- Disney+: Subscribers to the Disney+ and Hulu bundle can watch the same episodes through Hulu on Disney+.

A few milestones help when you're scanning the list:
- Season 3: Mark Cuban becomes a permanent Shark and Lori Greiner first appears.
- Season 9: the current-style set debuts.
- Season 10: the series reaches its 200th episode.
- Season 12: taped in a COVID-19 bubble in Las Vegas.
- Season 14: the first season with a live studio audience.
- Season 16: Cuban's last season as a main Shark.
How the panel has changed
The original 2009 panel had five Sharks: Kevin Harrington, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O'Leary. Mark Cuban first appeared as a guest in Season 2 and took over Harrington's seat in Season 3. Lori Greiner arrived the same season, and from Season 4 the show rotated six regular Sharks through five chairs. That lineup held for 13 seasons.
Guest Sharks became a regular feature from Season 5 on. Some went on to bigger roles. KIND founder Daniel Lubetzky guested for five seasons before he was promoted in Season 16. Kendra Scott and Rashaun Williams followed the same route into Season 18. Corcoran, Herjavec, John and O'Leary are the only Sharks who have been part of the main cast in every season.
How to find a specific product
If you remember the pitch but not the company name, a few methods narrow it down fast:
- Search what you remember. A product type, a Shark who made a deal, or a phrase from the pitch is enough to start. Use our search to match it against every pitch we track.
- Narrow by season. If you know roughly when you watched it, open that season's page from the table above and scan its episodes.
- Browse by category. Our product directory groups pitches by type, such as food, home and kitchen, or kids, and shows which ones got a deal.
- Remember that reruns are usually old episodes. A product you saw recently may date back years, and some companies have since rebranded, been sold, or closed.
Before you buy, check the company's current website. A product's on-air price and availability often change after its episode airs.
